SOCIAL
RESPONSIBILITY
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before the Lord is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world. “
James 1v27
Why Social Responsiblity
matters
Every Nation’s mission is to honor God by planting Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, and socially responsible churches and campus ministries worldwide. This calling is rooted in Jesus’ command to love God fully and love others as ourselves, with social responsibility being a natural outworking of that love.
The Gospel does not remove our responsibility toward the world’s brokenness but calls us to engage it. Despite overwhelming global challenges—such as injustice, unrest, disasters, and widespread displacement—God continues His mission of redemption and sends His Church to actively serve and bring hope in a complex world.
How can you be part of making a change?
Our city-wide project:
Tswalo House Baby Haven
Tswalo House is a temporary place of safety for abandoned babies — a specialised short-term care home providing 24-hour support and nurturing care for newborns and young infants who have been abandoned, orphaned, or surrendered.
We currently have six precious babies in our care and are filled with faith as we watch them grow and trust God’s purpose for their lives to unfold.
Our home is supported by House Parents and eight dedicated staff members who serve in 12-hour day and night shifts, ensuring consistent love and care. Together with our volunteers and visitors, we are reminded that it truly takes a village to raise a child — and we are grateful for a community that stands with us.
DONATE
Donors help transform the lives of vulnerable babies and toddlers by providing financial support, essential baby and household items, and other necessities. Your contributions ensure these children receive care, love, and a strong start in life.
Types of Donations:
1. Continual Needs
2. Once-off Donations
3. Financial Contributions & Company Investments
You can also apply for an 18A Certificate, as Tswalo House African Havens is a registered Public Benefit Organization.

VOLUNTEER
Our volunteers are a vital part of our community, providing emotional support, playtime, and attention to our babies, helping them feel seen, heard, and loved. They may assist with feeding, cuddling, and soothing the babies, and often form special bonds with them. By volunteering with us, they are helping to create a nurturing environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and social development of our babies, and we are grateful for their presence and support.
We invite you to join our team of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about providing a safe and loving environment for our babies to thrive. Whether you can spare a few hours a week or a few days a month, your time and talent will make a real difference in the lives of our little ones.
Together, let’s create a haven of hope and love for our precious babies and toddlers.
